STATE ANNUAL MEETING TO CELEBRATE VOLUNTEERISM, MEMBERSHIP AND YOUNG FARMERS’ SKILLS
In just a few weeks the Florida Farm Bureau Annual Meeting takes place in St. Augustine, Oct. 24-26.
The three-day meeting will be a whirlwind of networking, awards, competitions and informative break-out sessions on the latest agricultural trends.
Students and agriculturists from age 14 to 35 will compete in various contests, including the Youth Speech Contest, Young Farmer and Rancher Discussion Meet and the Excellence in Agriculture competition.
Other events include the President Awards Banquet, Commissioner of Agriculture-Environmental Leadership Breakfast, Legislative Luncheon, member benefits tradeshow, a “roaring twenties” themed member appreciation event and a delegate session where members set policy for the state’s largest general agricultural organization for 2019.
