• Topic: A typed essay of not more than 500 words explaining, “Why I want a career in agriculture.” Please include your college plans and any other career-related activities in which you will be participating in the essay.
• Application Deadline: Applications must be submitted through the Polk Education Foundation. The applications open in November 2025.
