Polk Young Farmers and Ranchers
Polk County Farm Bureau boasts a strong and active YF&R group comprised of students and young professionals. The YF&R program's primary goal is to enable and encourage young adults to become active participating members of Farm Bureau.
The YF&R Committee includes men and women between the ages of 18 and 35. The committee members participate in networking, social, continued education, legislative, membership, youth and public relations activities.

Will Putnam YF&R Scholarship Fund
The Polk YF&R supports local high school seniors pursuing a career in agriculture through the Will Putnam YF&R Scholarship Fund. This scholarship honors the legacy of Will Putnam and helps the next generation of agricultural leaders get their start.
YF&R Leadership Conference
Each July, Florida Farm Bureau hosts the statewide YF&R Leadership Conference. As a Polk YF&R member you may be eligible for a scholarship to attend this conference.
