Polk County Farm Bureau is governed by an elected Board of Directors representing farmers and ranchers across Polk County. Our professional staff supports the board's mission by delivering member services, coordinating events, and advocating for agriculture every day.

Executive Director

Carole leads the day-to-day operations of Polk County Farm Bureau, overseeing member services, publications, events, and community outreach programs.

Sarah Waldman

Program Director

Sarah coordinates PCFB's programs and events, including the Youth Speech Contest, Women's Committee activities, and Young Farmers & Ranchers activities.

The Polk County Farm Bureau Board of Directors is elected by the membership at the Annual Membership Meeting each fall. Board members serve as representatives of their districts and guide the organization's policy positions, programs, and strategic direction.

About the Board

The Polk County Farm Bureau Board of Directors meets regularly throughout the year to set policy, review programs, and ensure the organization is effectively serving its members. Board members are active farmers and ranchers who bring firsthand knowledge of the challenges facing Polk County agriculture.

All PCFB members in good standing are eligible to vote in board elections at the Annual Membership Meeting held each October. Members interested in serving on the board or advisory committees should contact the PCFB office.
