A decision from the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on February 18, 2025, has reinstated the filing requirements under the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) for Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI).
Agricultural businesses and farm operations that are structured as LLCs, corporations, or other registered entities may be subject to these filing requirements. Farm Bureau members are encouraged to consult with their legal or financial advisors to determine whether their operation is required to file.
